The Magyar Posta issues a commemorative stamp to celebrate the 150th birthday of Prof. Dr. Heim Pál, a pioneer in modern Hungarian pediatric and child healthcare. Designed by Dinya Gábor and printed in 40,000 copies at the ANY Biztonsági Nyomda Nyrt., it will be available from November 28, 2025, at Filaposta, philatelic services, selected post offices, and www.posta.hu. Prof. Dr. Heim Pál (1875-1929) dedicated his life to treating and improving child healthcare, leaving a lasting impact on the medical community. His achievements include numerous medical treatments and diagnoses, establishing the first nursery school, and introducing the concept of 'Heim-nővérek'. The 'Heim Pál 150' anniversary features scientific, cultural, and professional events to honor his legacy and inspire dedication in pediatric medicine. The stamp features Prof. Dr. Heim Pál with his grandson, Oszkár, while the envelope shows the professor with Szabó Rózsa Heim-nővér holding a child. The first-day cover (FDC) bears a cancellation mark with the 'Gyógyító örökség' inscription and a graphic composition of a nurse embracing a child.
