Precision-molded polyethylene (PE) stopper caps are available for every size (except 15.5 x 50 mm) of Evergreen Test tube. Choose from either standard caps or the flattop style. Caps for 12 mm tubes are available in six colors. Over-fitting caps for use with sterile culture tubes have two positions: loose for aerobic culturing; tight for anaerobic culturing and leak-proof sealing. Caps for culture tubes are gamma-irradiated for sterility. Caps are for either polystyrene (high-temperature solder) or polypropylene (PP) culture tubes. Perforated caps for sample cups help minimize variation caused by evaporation during processing; non-perforated caps are appropriate for short-term storage.
