Polyurethane sealant is a single-component elastomeric sealant based on urethane that polymerizes at room temperature. They are mostly used in applications requiring assembly and sealing, this is then referred to as putty-glue, or polyurethane putty glue. Polyurethane sealant has the advantage of having good resistance to shocks and vibrations thanks to its elasticity (assembly of materials with different coefficient of thermal expansion) and high mechanical performance.
