- Let's Begin! Place the ball in the launcher and use the brown A button to release the blockade
- Beware of Piranha Plant! Use the red B button to overcome the trap
- Next Challenge! Climb up using the brown A button. The climb ends when the ball drops into the basket
- Boo's Rotating Trap! Turn the D knob to move the ball between the columns
- YOSHI SHORTCUT! Yoshi arrives to help. Use the E knob to rotate the platform and direct the ball to path 6, where Luigi awaits. You can also choose the shortcut (path 8). Welcome to the twisty zone
- Luigi's Pipe Tower! Luigi takes control. Use the D knob to rotate the tower and direct the ball to path 7 or 8
- THWOMPS! Watch out! Don't get squashed! Use the red B and green C buttons to bypass the Thwomps zone and jump onto path 8
- KAMEK! Final Task! Fire the ball using the A button to pass through the zone guarded by Kamek
