The sharp tip setting helps get some of the finest detail into your work, the medium setting is good for rough sketches or writings, and the bluntest tip is really thick for both the expert artists to shade and kids who’re hard on pencils. Note: Use medium/blunt settings with soft-core pencils to prevent breakage. (Not recommended for ultra-soft pencils.)
