The AKONA Quantum Stretch Vented Zippered Hood is designed for waters between 55 degrees and warmer. This is a 5mm hood with a bib to be tucked into your wetsuit. This will seal to the neck of your suit and keep you warm. The 3mm "skin-in" is designed to seal against your face, while providing maximum comfort. The 3mm panel can be trimmed to fit your face more properly. The 14 Inch Zipper provides additional width to allow the Hood for Donning and Doffing. The Neoprene Dam behind the zipper doesn't allow water to penetrate past the zipper.
