Offered is a beautiful sterling silver & enamel buckle. It has rare purple enamel and white enamel dots. The buckle is from Norway and signed with an early mark of David Andersen - the mark was in use between 1888 and 1925. This was designed by designed by Gustav Gaudernack around 1899. It is also marked 925. The buckle measures 64mm across x 40mm tall. It is in good condition for its age with a couple of scratches to the enamel - enlarge picture 3. There are also minor surface scratches to the enamel that you can best see in picture 1.
