Caplugs FP-SH Series NBR Flangeless Plugs are reusable, black-colored plugs that protect threaded holes without masking the surrounding area. They are recommended for masking applications like plating, painting and anodizing. These plugs are designed with a hollow core and a tapered, or gradually narrowing, shape, allowing them to create a secure and tight seal within an opening. A single plug can be used in both threaded or non-threaded holes of varying sizes, with this model having the following measurements: 0.221" Min x 0.315" Max x 1" H. Our FP-SH Series plugs are flangeless, which ensures a uniform, space-efficient seal without any raised edges or surfaces, making them ideal for applications with limited space or clearance requirements. The FP-SH Series is constructed from NBR (nitrile-butadiene rubber), which is a versatile synthetic material known for its resistance to oils, fuels and greases, as well as for retaining its resilience and elasticity in both low and high-temperature conditions.
