Caring for your Chamois - As a natural product, it is important you take good care of your Chamois. After use, rinse in warm soapy water (hand soap) avoid the use of washing up liquid or washing powder as this will strip the natural oils from the Chamois, leaving it hard and brittle. Rinse thoroughly in clean water, wring it out and hang to air dry preferably not in direct sunlight. Once dry, you can pull the Chamois back into shape before folding and putting away. Never leave the Chamois scrunched up or in a container or bag while it is still wet. This will result in mould and will deteriorate the cleaning ability and absorption. Cared for properly, our Chamois will provide excellent, long term service.
