It also comes loaded with a distinctive black frame and hardware with a non-reflective tactically inspired look. But at this price, you won’t feel guilty if you leave it at a job site somewhere as night sets in.The blade opens easily when you need it most. Just put your finger on the Carson Flipper. Flick your wrist. Then it all locks into place with the automated liner safety that automatically actuates when the blades is open. It’s goodbye folder and hello fixed blade when locked. You’re safe and sound and ready to go.To close the knife, pull the red buttoned safety lever back, slide the locking liner over, and fold the blade into the closed position. The handle features easy-to-grip glass-reinforced nylon scales and a stainless steel lined InterFrame. Assembled with glass-reinforced nylon back spacers and Torx fasteners as well, the handle is rigid and offers excellent toughness and resistance to solvents. A one position, stainless steel pocket clip rounds out the features. The easy one handed opening and closing is as velvet smooth as the larger models the result of Teflon bearings at the blade pivot.
