- At Dakotaline Furs, our hides are professionally cleaned and tanned preserving them for many years and, with proper care, a lifetime.
- Includes: 1 pelt Harvested legally and ethically from the Northern US and Canada.
- Beautiful, tanned Raccoon pelts. The fur is long and soft with a soft workable tan. Good for a wide variety of uses from hats and mittens to pet toys!
- Natural colors ; no dyes so colorations and patterns may vary. Real fur, not faux, so it is eco-friendly and biodegradable.
- Note: None of our pelts come with feet unless specifically stated, nor are they processed for taxidermy use.
- Note: Real fur and skin pelts may have some smells or shedding...this is normal. The pelt can be gently shaken or brushed and hung up for a few days to remedy these issues.
- Premium Grade - These are our best raccoons. Good faces and longer hair then our medium grades. No noticeable holes or rubs.
- Medium Grade - These may have minor flaws such as a small hole or a face that has large eye-holes. The fur may be a bit shorter than the premium grade but are still very well furred.
- Imperfect Grade - May have an imperfect face, a hole(s) in the pelt, thinning areas in the body or a stiffer (but still workable) tan on the hide. Great for sewing projects!
- No Tail Grade - These pelts will range from Premium Grade to Imperfect grade but will not have a tail. Perfect for sewing projects where a tail is not needed.
