This 26 Micron wool, with a staple length of 4-6 inches and 100-115 mm, is sourced from a blend of Corridale, Polwarth, and Dohne Merino sheep in the Falkland Islands. These breeds are known for their dual-purpose use and hardiness in harsh climates, resulting in wool that's nearly chemical-free due to the absence of common sheep diseases and the lack of dipping or mulesing practices. Our fibers are hand-dyed with colorfast commercial dyes for a unique appearance. While we ensure minimal run-off by exhausting and heat-setting the dye, variations in water worldwide might cause slight bleeding. To preserve your finished item, hand wash it in cool water and lay it flat to dry. We strive to provide accurate color representation, but monitor settings may vary.
