The Ark of the Covenant is a gold-covered wooden chest described in the Book of Exodus in The Holy Bible as containing the two stone Ten Commandments tablets and in the early exodus period, also held Aaron's rod and a pot of manna. The children of Israel carried the Ark in their desert journey all the way into the promised land. The Ark Of The Covenant was a symbol of God's presence and where the Ark goes, awe and victory ensues; provided the Israelites' hearts are obedient to His commandments. This is a religious reproduction of the Ark Of The Covenant, designed to be a footstool or throne for God symbolically. The Ark was placed in the Most Holy Place in the tabernacle/temple.
