Fire-Resistant Floor Door - JL Industries

The door features a 12-gauge galvanneal steel frame with ash gray primer, and a 1/4-inch aluminum tread plate with a mill finish and 14-gauge galvanneal steel liner, also with ash gray primer. It's insulated with high-temperature ceramic fiber and equipped with a continuous stainless steel hinge, a stainless steel slam latch operated by a recessed turn handle, and 316 stainless steel gas spring cylinders. In case of fire, a 165F (74C) fusible link melts, automatically closing the door. The installation kit includes anchor straps for concrete and screws for wood frames. It can withstand a live load of 150 lbs/sq ft (700 kg/sq metre) and is available in various sizes, with clear opening dimensions based on width. It's fire-rated for 1, 2, and 3 hours by QAI Laboratories, following NFPA 288 and CAN/ULC S101 standards. Optional features include latches, locks, and door material variations.
