Many states and Canadian provinces require guns to be enclosed in a case as they are being transported. Great Day proudly introduces the Center-Lok Overhead Gun Case Rack - the first of its kind. The CL1501-OCR and CL1601-OCR models utilize the patented Center-Lok “opposing forces” system that provides quick and sturdy installation without any drilling or bolting. No alterations to the roof required to avoid the manufacturer's warranty. The Center-Lok Gun Rack positions one encased weapon securely against the headliner of the truck - totally out of sight of passers-by - providing abundant headroom for the driver and passengers. The encased guns are held in generous-sized, moldable cradles with Velcro straps and adjust independently to different size cases. The Center-Lok is framed in aircraft aluminum and finished in a handsome, durable coat of powder-coat enamel. It expands from 48in to 54in. The CL1501-OCR fits FULL-SIZE crew cab trucks and some SUV’s with center doorposts and the CL1603-OCR fits MID-SIZE crew cab trucks and some SUV’s with center doorposts. BEFORE ORDERING: measure the width of the vehicle and the length of the gun. BEFORE INSTALLATION: make sure that there are no accessories such as DVD players or other equipment in the the headliner area between the doorposts that may interfere installation.
