The wide variety of trims available allows a number of different lighting effects to be created with one basic housing. The H27RT is designed for use in non-insulated shallow ceilings. While this model is not rated for direct contact with insulation, it may be used with insulation as long as a three-inch gap is maintained around the fixture.For ease of installation, four remodel clips secure the housing (they will accommodate 1/2- and 5/8-inch ceiling material). The housing itself accepts a variety of bulb sizes, and the rigid socket plate adjusts and locks without tools.
