The CIL LED, a custom Undercarriage Cart Inspection Light, was designed for NASA's aircraft at Ellington Field, Texas. Primarily used for astronaut training and various aircraft maintenance, the field houses diverse NASA aircraft. The original lighting solutions were insufficient, prompting XtraLight to develop the CIL LED.
