The 37” Hybrid length Mounting Post by Mail Boss is made of heavy-duty galvanized 10 and 14-gauge steel with a durable powder-coated finish. Use this 37” post in conjunction with the 715X Mail Boss Baseplate for surface-mount applications where the post install location is close to street level – or on short curb height application. Alternatively, this post can be used for in-ground applications by utilizing a pressure treated nominal 4x4” post as an extension to go deeper into the ground. Additionally, this post can be slid over an existing 4x4” nominal wood post and secured with lag screws near the bottom – this allows users to leave their existing post in place and use our post as a ‘sheath’ to cover the wood and allow easy installation of any MailBoss brand spreaders or curbside mailboxes.
