- Monterey is 7 oz. raw, 10.5 oz. finished, cotton canvas, sized and double primed with archival quality acrylic gesso producing an ideal ground for oils, acrylics, and alkyds. Uniform texture, medium tooth, easy on your brushes.
- Canvas Depth: 1.5", Canvas relief: 1/2" (space between canvas and Bar). Solid Pine or Fir Stretcher Bars from the sustainable forests of the Pacific Northwest. No finger joints are allowed, which tend to fail under pressure and over time.
- Patented Precision Machined Keyable Stretcher Bars are 1-1/2" deep by 1-5/8" wide. Patented Cross Braces offer great support. You may tension the canvas in the middle, where it's needed the most. Pre-Installed Corner & brace keys.
