Mirka Waterproof is recommended for manually wet sanding plastics, lacquer and composite materials. These 320 grit sheets are aluminum oxide for sanding putty, removing lacquer or paints and more. The product has a latex impregnated paper as a backing material and extra durable grit binding. It can be used on metal and is perfect for sharpening chisels and planes. Suitable for wet sanding by hand. Provides a high-quality sanding finish also on coarser surfaces. A sanding block is recommended for a smooth sanding pattern. Grits from 220 to 320 are aluminum oxide for sanding putty, removing lacquer or paints and more. Grits from 400 to 800 are silicon carbide grit and are suitable for finer sanding chores like sanding between coats, finish coats and lacquer.
