The Slip Yoke Eliminator Kit from Outland Automotive is a must for any 88-06 Jeep Wrangler YJ/TJ or 88-01 Cherokee XJ models with a 2-inch or larger suspension lift. When a vehicle is lifted, the geometry of the driveline is altered which will often result in driveline vibrations. Over time, these vibrations can lead to accelerated wear and premature failure of u-joints and bearings. The Slip Yoke Eliminator Kit incorporates a shorter and stronger transfer case main shaft with a fixed output yoke, doing away with the failure-prone slip yoke for more reliable off-road performance. The SYE Kit requires use of a CV-style drive shaft which improves driveline alignment over a broader range of suspension articulation and chassis movement. The SYE Kit will not work with cable driven speedometers and includes detailed installation instructions.
