During his long journey, the Greek hero Odysseus is captured by the Cyclops Polyphemus, son of Poseidon. During their Odyssey, Odysseus and his companions set foot in the land of the Cyclops. While exploring the island, the men discover a herd of sheep and follow them into a cave. But inside, the master of the cave, the Polyphemus Cyclops, surprises them and captures them. To escape, Odysseus imagines a cunning, he makes Polyphemus drink wine until he makes him drunk and punctures his only eye. Crazy with rage, the blind colossus sat in front of the entrance to the cave to prevent the Greeks from escaping. However, Odysseus and his friends were able to outwit Polyphemus by quickly attaching themselves under his sheep and quietly walked out of the cave as those went to the pastures.
