Bolesławiec region has been producing ceramic dishes for centuries thanks to the occurrence of natural clay in the area. Furthermore, the production process has been perfected over the centuries, making Polish Pottery of the highest quality. Clay, paint and glaze are all non-toxic, which makes Polish Pottery dishes excellent for everyday use. Its pleasing aesthetics and functionality make Polish stoneware highly collectable. Hundreds of different shapes and painted patterns make for a world of variations. Dishes are decorated using a stamp method and then finished with hand painting. Dished signed with a UNIKAT stamp and artist’s signature are more rare and therefore more valuable. The decoration is this artist’s unique creation and cannot be replicated by others. Care: Thanks to the use of only non-toxic raw materials and paints, Polish Pottery is safe for culinary use. It can be used in an oven (up to 480 °F), microwave and dishwasher. Colors will not fade with time. It is also non-stick and chip resistant, but should be handled with care. Polish Pottery is durable and meant to serve for generations.
