The threading die must screw onto the entire length of the workpiece's thread by hand, without excessive force. If this isn't possible, the thread doesn't meet the required standards (rejected). The reference temperature for parts and gauges is 20°C. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate (price on inquiry). Calibration is performed in an independent lab, following specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI), using IAC thread scanners.
- Manual Threading: The Gewindelehrring should screw onto the entire length of the work piece's thread by hand without excessive force
- Thread Mismatch: If the Gewindelehrring cannot be screwed onto the work piece's thread, the thread does not meet the desired standards
- Reference Temperature: The work pieces and measuring tools are calibrated at a reference temperature of 20°C
