The rod features a lightweight 56 medium IM7 graphite blank. The shorter rod gives young anglers more control but has enough backbone to land fish. The reel was specifically designed with a smaller profile that easily fits in the hands of young anglers. The smaller spool enables less line on the reel, which allows fixing backlashes easier for beginning anglers. The Next Gen Combo was designed with the youth angler in mind and will allow more young anglers to advance their skills to the next level!
