The PWS20P-L Watts Progressive Water Softening System Series is designed for high-demand settings, ensuring elevated flow rates and constant soft water supply. Available in duplex, triplex, and quadplex configurations, these systems are perfect for point-of-use or point-of-entry applications in commercial, industrial, and institutional environments. Each system employs a conventional cation exchange process to eliminate scale-causing calcium and magnesium ions, substituting them with non-scale-forming sodium ions for consistent water quality. The core of each unit is the Watts LOCKSMITHTM control valve, a robust, corrosion-resistant brass valve that's highly configurable and easy to maintain. Operated by an electronic controller, the valve retains key operational data and supports metered, demand-initiated regeneration, reducing water, salt, and energy usage. With grain capacities ranging from 150,000 to 600,000 and mineral tank diameters from 18 to 36 inches, each tank holds 5 to 20 cubic feet of high-capacity ion exchange resin. Flow rates can reach up to 119 gallons per minute per tank, and all models feature NSF and ANSI certified components with standard 2" FNPT inlet/outlet and 1" to 112" MNPT drain connections. The progressive system design allows tanks to activate sequentially as demand increases, ensuring scalable, efficient soft water performance. Configured as duplex, triplex, or quadplex, these systems provide dependable, continuous operation for various high-flow applications.
