PROMETHEUS by Maxfield Parrish is a limited edition hand numbered poster 467/500.This is one of Parrish's early paintings done for Edison Mazda promoting the new uses of electric in the early half of the 20th century. Parrish completed 17 paintings from 1918 through 1934,that were reproduce in different sizes. Maxfield Parrish was a gifted artist and illustrator having his works reproduced for books, magazines, calendars, and other publications. Many of his paintings for Edison Mazda often featured girls on rocks especially in the later years. This limited edition print size is 19" x 30" and will be shipped on a poster tube.
