Push Rod Tube, Set of 8, Fits 1200/40HP, Compatible with Dune Buggy These push rod tubes only fit 40HP/1200cc-based engines used in 1961-1965 Type-1 Bug & Karmann Ghia, and 1959-1963 Type-2 Bus models. These should be expanded prior to installation so they put outward pressure on the seals for a dry engine. ONLY use Genuine Silicone Push rod Tube Seals for longest leak-free life Be sure to install these with the welded seam inches UP inches. SOLD AS KIT OF 8. This kit is great for engine rebuilds and new engine builds. This kit should be enough for 1 air-cooled engine. Push rod tubes should be replaced when removed. Push rod tubes allow oil to flow into the heads and lubricating the valve train and connect the engine case to the heads.
