Transmission belt of 1865 mm development, responsible for transmitting the movement of the motor to the drum of the dryer. It is mounted in dryers of the brands Aspes, Bauknecht, Edesa, Fagor, Brandt, Ignis, Whirlpool, White Westinghouse, Ariston, Creda, Hotpoint, Indesit, Electra, Crusader, Eurotech, General Electric, Proline, among many other brands. Teeth: 7 / Channels: 6 / Groove: Type H / Elasticity: EL / Teeth Height: 2.5 mm / Dist. Channels: 1.6 mm / Manufacturer: Megadyne. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Once you have accessed the back of the dryer: 1. Run the belt through the motor pulley. 2. Then take the strap, through the tensioner*, to the side of the bass drum (* there may be 1 tensioner, 2 tensioners or none). 3. And start spinning slowly and hard. The strap will be put on as the elasticity is given. That is, it mounts like a bicycle chain (See photo) WHY ARE STRAPS BREAKED? Most dryer belts break for the same cause: because they burn. You will know that your dryer belt has burned because the ends of the belt have been slightly curved inward and the inner grooving has been lowered. To prevent the strap from breaking due to this cause, do not overload the dryer or dry shoes or sneakers. This will prevent the drum from being blocked while the motor pulley rotates and burning the belt.
