Genuine Honda seat lock plunger also know as the bar assembly for the seat lock and also the most phallic part on the bike. If your seat won't shut properly, it's possible the culprit is the seat lock plunger. The rubber grommets disintegrate over time and don't allow the plunger to align with the lock properly. This is the part that attaches to the seat.
